Sites Reservoir is a proposed multi-benefit water storage project located approximately 10 miles west of the Colusa County town of Maxwell. It will provide a reliable water supply for communities, farms, and the environment throughout California, especially during dry periods. The Sites Reservoir Project (Project) is supported by a coalition of local, State, and federal Storage Partners, bringing diverse experience and solid financial backing as well as a marketplace of willing and able buyers and sellers. Together, these Storage Partners serve over 24 million Californians and 500,000 acres of farmland.
This Baseline Report provides background information to support a shared understanding of Project benefits, costs, schedule, and risks. It also establishes metrics for reporting to the Reservoir Management Board and the Joint Powers Authority Board of Directors as the Project evolves.
